Goodbye to the long hot days of Summer and hello to the fresh crisp Autumn air. From chic outerwear to swoon over and must-have footwear to see you through another season, it’s time to get excited about Autumn!
Autumn/Winter 2020 is a season of contrasts like no other, with houndstooth set to make yet another comeback and vibrant outerwear dominating the runways its looking anything but boring!
In this week’s blogpost, I’ve put a look together that defines the word trans-seasonal and combines wardrobe basics with on-trend pieces.
Last season suede made a subtle debut, however mostly in footwear. This 2020’ season it’s once again having a moment and more versatile than ever.
Autumn is the season of cooler days mixed with a hint of warm sunshine. Although, not as cold as Winter, owning a light-weight coat will become your best friend!
Whether it’s a trench or Pea Coat outerwear brings an Autumn look together like nothing else. The suede tan coat that I am wearing is available from H & M.
The straight cut coat is crafted from a soft stretch faux suede. It features a stand-up collar, removable tie belt at waist and patch front pockets. The coat offers a raw edge at the cuffs and an unlined hem.
Look to your capsule wardrobe to bring the outfit together. I opted to team a nautical striped tea from Zara underneath the coat for a pop of pattern. In keeping with a uniform Parisian inspired combo, I teamed a black skinny jean with the coat and introduced a pair of loafers.
With sneaking dressing clearly dominating Winter trends, you can easily switch up the loafers for white sneakers instead.
Navigating your way through the trans-seasonal might seem like a daunting task however with a few on-trend pieces mixed with wardrobe basics you will nail it no time!
